EU applicants: Students of the EU do not need a study visa
Non-EU applicants: Before entering Italy you will need to apply for a Study Visa. Consult with your local Italian consulate to check on what requirements they have.

SDC will provide you with an acceptance letter stating that you have been accepted to study at Style Design College and present you with a student number. You will need this letter to motivate your visa application.

Once you receive your visa it is important that you scan and email or fax a copy of the study visa to our offices. Students cannot be accepted if they do not possess the right visas and permissions to study in Italy.

After arriving in Milan you will need to apply for a Permesso di soggiorno at the local Police station (Questura). SDC will need a copy of this document once you have it.

Please note:
Don't be discouraged in trying to get a Study visa. Italian consulates have to be very careful who they grant visas to. SDC will assist you as much as possible. Thousands of non-EU students are issued student visas each year.
